Tarek McCarthy trabajó para History Channel y Discovery Channel como director/productor/editor. Mientras estaba en la universidad, hizo un cortometraje sobre su vida llamado “The Beautiful Wind”, que ganó el premio al Mejor Cortometraje – Elección del Público en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Nueva York. También produjo un cortometraje, “Purgatorio”, que fue aceptado en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Cannes 2011 y en el Festival Internacional de Cine de Nueva York, donde ganó, Mejor Cortometraje de Terror y Actor a Seguir: Tarek McCarthy. Tarek pasó los últimos diecisiete años filmando y produciendo segmentos de Buscando Visión con Aziza Baccouche. No fue hasta este año que finalmente se completó la película.

Tarek McCarthy worked for the History Channel and Discovery Channel as a director/producer/editor. While in college he made a short film about his life called, “The Beautiful Wind” which won Best Short – Audience Choice Award at The New York International Film Festival. He also produced a short film, “Purgatory” that was accepted to Cannes Int Film Festival 2011, and the New York Int Film Festival, where it won, Best Horror Short, and Actor to Watch – Tarek McCarthy. Tarek spent the past seventeen years filming and producing segments of Seeking Vision with Aziza Baccouche. It wasn’t until this year that the film was finally completed.
