La posibilidad de no encajar en tu primer día de colegio como el chico nuevo es uno de los mayores miedos de Oliver, nuestro protagonista.

Ante la atenta mirada de sus nuevos compañeros de clase, Oliver se sienta al lado de Claudia, quien no tarda en tranquilizarle y conocerle. Con el inicio del recreo, Claudia aprovecha los pasillos vacíos para enseñarle a Oliver el colegio por dentro. Una vez van al patio, les presenta a sus amigos: Mario, Irene y Marina. Oliver se da cuenta de que están en un banco bastante apartado y no tarda en preguntarles el por qué estaban allí. Y es que, a veces, el patio es un sitio hostil para ellos por sus formas de ser.
Un banco, un rincón de patio que comparten entre ellos, es su espacio seguro donde compartir tiempo juntos y ser ellos mismos.

Oliver se abre con ellos y descubre que comparten muchas cosas en común, por lo que su miedo por no encajar se ve apartado por un grupo de amigos que le dan la bienvenida tal y como es él.

Under the watchful eyes of his new classmates, Oliver sits next to Claudia, who soon reassures him and gets to know him. With the start of recess, Claudia takes advantage of the empty hallways to show Oliver the inside of the school. Once they go to the yard, she introduces them to her friends: Mario, Irene and Marina. Oliver realizes that they are in a quite secluded bench and soon asks them why they were there. And the thing is that, sometimes, the yard is a hostile place for them because of their ways of being.

A bench, a corner of the yard that they share with each other, is their safe space where they can share time together and be themselves.

Oliver opens up to them and discovers that they share many things in common, so his fear of not fitting in is pushed aside by a group of friends who welcome him just the way he is.
